ACADEMY Director
Tracy Radler
For 32 years, Tracy has been a K-12th grade teacher in Mercer County. She was also a lifeguard and certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). A proud graduate of The College of New Jersey, Tracy received her Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education and returned to TCNJ to serve as a professor in the Health and Exercise Science Department.
Tracy earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at Thomas Edison State University and holds Principal and Supervisional certifications. She was recognized as Teacher of the Year and was awarded a place in the TCNJ Teaching Hall of Fame and the TCNJ Athletic Hall of Fame. Tracy is a certified children's and family yoga instructor who earned certifications in Mindfulness from Rider University and Positive Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she continues to hold certifications by the American Red Cross as a First Aid, CPR / Rescue Breathing, Emergency Practices, and First Responder instructor.
Fun Fact: Tracy is a creator and author whose original games and activities have been published in the magazine Great Activities more than 50 times!
ACADEMY Director
Suzanne Merrill
Suzanne is a certified K-8 educator with 20 years of classroom experience. She graduated with honors from The College of New Jersey. She holds Bachelor's degrees in History (with a concentration in Native American Studies) and Early Childhood Education and minors in Communications and French. Her postgraduate work includes a Master's degree in Agricultural and Life Sciences from Virginia Tech and a PhD in Educational Leadership from National University. Suzanne was selected as Teacher of the Year and is a recipient of Princeton University's Lemonick Science Teaching Award.
Before her career in education, Suzanne was a Cast Member at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World, operating attractions such as It's a Small World, Cinderella's Carousel, and Peter Pan. And for those of you old enough to remember this... she also used to catch and stop the cabins of Skyway when they came barreling in from Tomorrowland! During her stint as a Disney Cast Member, Suzanne earned a "Ducktorate" degree at Disney University and starred in a commercial that aired on WDW Resort TV for over 15 years.
Fun Fact: Suzanne loves horses and rode competitively for almost a decade!
